Collective Drugstore Haul

Over the last couple of months I have been picking up some bits and bobs at Priceline and Chemist Warehouse {ahhheemandthepriceline40%offsale}. I managed to get quite a few things and I'm rather happy that I haven't gone overboard {which usually happens let's be real}.

I have picked up quite a lot of products that go on my eyelids for some strange reason.  I bought one of the Maybelline Color Tattoo's in the shade "05 Too Cool" which is a pearly white eyeshadow base. I thought getting an eyeshadow base in a whitish shade might make the shadows stand out a little more, if not I will use it in the inner corner of my eyes as an eye brightener.

Next I decided to buy some essential products that I trust and love. First up was the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Circle Eraser which is my all time favourite under eye concealer because it actually covers my dark circles. And then I also bought another Maybelline Master Precise liquid liner which is my favourite eyeliner on the planet and I needed to restock that one.

I also saw a new display for the Maybelline Master Smokey crayon thing which is supposed to create smokey eyes- we will see how that goes down, I got a charcoal colour instead of black because black smokey eyes are way too intense for me. I'd rather keep my liquid liners intensely black so I picked up the L'oreal Super Liner Blackbuster which is a super thick marker eyeliner that I wanted to try out and I have a review of this baby coming soon!

As for lips I picked up something I have never tried before which is the Bourjois Color Boost Lip Crayon in the shade "03 Orange Punch" and I really like the texture of it because it isn't too thick and it glides on so nicely. Next up on the list was a Maybelline Color Whisper in the shade "Who Wore It Red-er" which I'm excited to wear because it's such a deep red in the tube but swatches ever so nicely {plus the formula is A+}.

I feel like I'm becoming a blushaholic with the amount of blushes I'm buying lately! {ohwell} I picked up a Bourjois Baked Blush in the gorgeous shade "54 Rose Frisson". I always think pink blushes look the same so hopefully this one is different to the ones I already own. And the last thing I picked up was the Revlon Colorstay Longwear Nail Enamel in the shade "Marmalade" which is a burn't orange which has been my favourite colour for summer.

Have you tried anything that was in this haul?
What are your thoughts?
xx

  3. OUUU I have that exact same blush! (...of course I do) As much as I love the shade, I can't get over how old-ladyish the blush smells. THAT SCENT LINGERS.
I remember wanting that same shade of the Colour Tattoo, except we never got that shade in Canada BUT NONETHELESS it's a lovely shade I am admiring from afar!

  5. great haul! :) Really want to know your thoughts on that smoky stick, because if I could buy a little product that could provide me with everything I need for a smokey eye, that would be GREAT! Sometimes, there's not enough time for 30 different eyeshadows haha!
