I mentioned in my February Favourites post that I picked up the Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque which I bought because many bloggers have raved about this product and I wanted to see if it was worth the hype.
The Deep Repair Masque claims to be an "intense hair masque to revitalise dry and damaged hair" which was one of the reasons I was keen to try it. I have balayage/ombre? {tomato, tomato, potato} which has made the ends of my hair very dry and frizzy and I needed to find another hair masque as I was running out of my other one and wanted to try something new.
I love the packaging, I find it very cute and it adds some colour to my very boring bathroom. The tub is 250ml which is a fairly decent size which I am hoping lasts as long as my previous hair masque did. It has a screw lid and comes with a flat white lid inside which I'm guessing is to keep the product from drying up or changing consistency which is handy.
The texture of the hair masque is quite lovely, it's a pearly cream and it falls apart very nicely when you scoop it out of the tub. The directions state to leave in your hair for "7 minutes" which is a such a random time span which you would think isn't enough but the exact time works like a charm. As I was rinsing my hair I could feel that it was so much smoother and silkier which is pretty impressive. The smell has almost a fruity essence to it which I like but sometimes it can be a litte overpowing but it just smells so nice that I forgive it.
Overall I really like the Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque because it has done wonders for my hair. I love how it makes my hair so smooth and even though the price tag makes me want to clutch my soul from dropping out of my body, I truly think that this product is worth it if you want to give your hair some lovin'.
Have you tried this hair masque before?
I would love to hear your thoughts

A Beautiful Zen
I received some argan oil for Christmas, so when I'm out of that I am absolutely going to try this product. This was a great review! I don't usually read a lot of beauty blogs, but I'm really enjoying your posts & I'm looking forward to reading more!

I'm lways on the look out for good hair products and hair mask is something on my list now as my current brandless one which I received as a gift exchange doesn't seem to be working as well. This Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque sounds really promising though I don't think I can find it ay my local stores. I'm always afraid of nutty smell leaving an oily rancid nut smell and am surprised by the fruity fragrance you described. Thanx for the review!
